Art Is in Full Bloom This Spring in NYC

Rockefeller Center - Guggenheim - NY Botanical Garden

REVEAL Art Fair has enjoyed many exhibits throughout New York City this Spring. Here are some highlights from our visits to Rockefeller Center, the Guggenheim Museum, and the New York Botanical Garden:

At Rockefeller Center

Seated Ballerina by Jeff Koons, a nylon sculpture installation in Rockefeller Center, was on view through June 2. Presented by Kiehl’s and Art Production Fund, the inflatable nylon sculpture sought to raise awareness of National Missing Children’s Month in May, in an effort to support organizations like the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children (ICMEC) that work tirelessly to create a safer world for children.

At The Guggenheim

Doug Wheeler’s PSAD Synthetic Desert III transformed a room at the Guggenheim Museum into a semi-anechoic chamber designed to minimize noise and create a sense of infinite space. About the installation the artist wrote: “There are places where there isn’t a single living thing that you can recognize. There’s nothing moving on the ground, and there’s nothing in the sky. When you’re in a place like that, and you become conscious of yourself, it changes your perspective of how we fit into the mix of the whole universe.”

At the New York Botanical Garden

Monumental installations by famed glass artist Dale Chihuly, glistening in the warm Spring sun, transformed the New York Botanical Garden into something magical and other-worldly.
